Obstacles Overcome in Pamplona
Bridging the gap between what is unknown and what can be overcome, Transibérica hosts Women’s Cycling Camps to help female cyclists build their courage to enter the bike-packing and ultra-distance space - as female participation in these events is significantly lower than male participation.

Bicycle Nomad | See the road ahead.
125 years ago the Buffalo Soldiers, an all-Black regiment of U.S. soldiers stationed at Ft. Missoula, Montana, rode single-speed bikes 1,900 miles to St. Louis, Missouri over 41 days. Their objective was to test the feasibility of replacing horses with bikes in military operations. While the trip was fairly well-documented, upon completion the soldiers received very little recognition for the massive accomplishment. In fact, several of the soldiers were eventually buried without gravestones and their names are still unknown.
Basajaun
The inaugural 2022 Basajaun event has ended, leaving its finishers feeling euphoric - and exhausted. From July 30th to August 4th, riders had the opportunity to take on this unassisted, non-stop, single-stage gravel race. The route, which covered 760 kilometers of Spanish terrain and about +15,000 meters of climbing, showed how extreme the contrast of climate is in Europe.
Off the Crit - Ep 1 - Unbound with Lance and Freddy of L39ION of LA
This year we’re following the formidable riders that make up L39ION of Los Angeles as they work on and off the bike to change the future of the sport. In the first episode at Unbound, we explore the unlikely paths Lance Haidet and Freddy Ovett have taken to find themselves on the team and how that translates into the way they approach their racing.
Sisters In The Wild
Over a wonder-filled weekend in May, 15 different workshops were held at the second annual Sisters in the Wild Summer Gathering. By cultivating a safe and encouraging space to learn and grow, these female-lead mechanic sessions allowed for the women, trans, and non-binary participants to leave feeling empowered and inspired. Demystifying bikes and allowing people to gain confidence in basic bike mechanics and bikepacking are only a couple of things SITW strives for.
Through the Backroads of Bilbao
In the beautiful backroads of Bilbao, Spain, a group of unstoppable women gathered to test their limits, share their knowledge, and embody the spirit of cycling. The Transibérica Club held their first-ever Women's Collective Camp, a safe and supportive space to allow female riders to dabble in bikepacking and learn to overcome unknown - and sometimes unexpected - obstacles.
