Hometown Hero: Laura Gallardo
Cycling has been a lifelong passion and pursuit for Hammerhead ambassador Laura Gallardo. Her journey into the world of fitness and sports began as a competitive basketball player, eventually leading her to become a conditioning coach and personal trainer, where she recognized the importance of body maintenance.
Seeking to enhance her athletic journey, Laura embraced cycling, starting with her first road bike. Immersing herself in diverse cycling disciplines, she joyfully explored the intricacies of the human body's function on the bike.
Armed with a sports science degree from the University of Barcelona, Laura pursued her passion for performance, earning a master’s degree in cycling competition and performance from the University of Valencia. Mentored by World Tour Team giants, Laura continues to blend her passion and knowledge into the successful coaching and training of female athletes across cycling disciplines.
